Eligibility & Educational Qualificationof Railway NTPC 12th Pass Vacancy 2026

  • Educational Qualification: 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. Minimum 50% marks condition is not applicable for SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen candidates and candidates possessing higher qualifications than 12th (+2 Stage).
  • Cut-off Date: Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification on or before the closing date (13.11.2026). Candidates awaiting results of the final exam are NOT eligible to apply.
  • Typing Skill Test Update: The Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) for Junior Clerk Cum Typist and Accounts Clerk Cum Typist has been dispensed with for CEN No. 07/2026. Basic computer and typing proficiency will be assessed after joining.
  • Medical Standards: Must fulfill the visual standards for opted posts (A3 for Trains Clerk, B2 for Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, C2 for Typist posts). Candidates who have undergone LASIK surgery are NOT eligible for the post of Trains Clerk (Medical Standard A3).
